My client, a leading privately owned commercial construction company active across all sectors of the industry with areas of specific expertise in institutional and local government projects up to the value of $50m.

Duties:

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be required to:

• Ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
• Commercial experience
• Quality take offs
• Ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong customer service focus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to use Buildsoft & Cost X
• Ability to read and interpret building plans/engineering drawings

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will have:

• 5 years’ experience as an Estimator in Commercial Construction.
• Proven experience in similar role
• Team Player, cooperative and positive attitude
• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to liaise with clients
