Zenergy are partnering with a market leading, global manufacturer who are looking for a WHSE Business partner, working across 2 sites in Brisbane. This role will be managing two high risk sites, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, as well as liaising with project staff for a large-scale capital works project happening on site.

Position:

Reporting to the WHSE Manager for QLD, this role will see you leading safety across two sites in Brisbane, with time split evenly between the two. A large part of this role is stakeholder engagement, liaising with site staff to drive safety performance and nurturing an excellent safety culture. One of the sites has a large-scale expansion project underway so project safety experience would also be a bonus.

Key responsibilities:

• Coaching and mentoring staff to drive change and build a positive safety culture across the sites
• Working closely with leaders and operators to embed good practice and roll out key safety initiatives
• Leading WHSE committee meetings and working closely with contractors and project teams to ensure high safety standards are met

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a Health and Safety role, within a manufacturing environment (essential)
• Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required
• Experience managing risk, accident and incident investigations, safety system implementation and auditing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, coach and mentor staff at all levels
• Flexibility to be based between two sites in Brisbane, 5 days a week
