The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director this role will be focused on the following duties:

• Overall responsibility for the Finance function and Corporate Governance of the Group
• Oversee financial control of the organisation including cost management
• Statutory Reporting including taxation, IFRS, FIRB and ASIC requirements
• Coordinate all audit activities
• Provide strategic advice and financial insights regarding market conditions and product trends and make operational recommendations
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the business
• Treasury operations
• Continuous process improvement in relation to systems, policies and procedures
• Maintenance of an appropriate control environment.
• Leading and coaching team members across the day to day business including mentoring, performance management and development
• Working as a key member of the Executive team

About You

• CA/CPA qualified
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
• Proven experience working as a senior professional within an organisation with team management and development skills
• Able to work with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels throughout the business
• FMCG or Manufacturing experience will be highly regarded
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
