**This is a SME business with parent company listed on Global Stock Exchange, Australian entity need someone hands-on and exposure to all functions of Financial Accounting**

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Director this role will be focused on the following duties:

• Lead the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including monthly management reports, statutory financial reports.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the parent company listed on the Global Stock Exchange, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
• Prepare statutory financial reports in compliance with local regulatory requirements for all countries of operation
• Supervise the bookkeeping of overseas management companies
• Prepare and assist with income tax returns, tax effect accounting, and other tax obligations (Australia and overseas).
• Lodge statutory obligations including Superannuation, GST, Payroll Tax, and FBT
• Conduct group-wide balance sheet reconciliation and maintain intercompany loan records and FX reserve accounts.
• Monitor bank balances, oversee signatory and authorization limits, and manage banking administration.
• Serve as the Public Officer for Australia, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory obligations.

About You

• CPA or CA qualified with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8–10+ years’ experience in financial reporting, ideally within a multinational environment as this role manages multiple regions
• Proven expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements and statutory reports across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS); experience with GAAP
• Solid background in tax compliance (income tax, GST, FBT, Superannuation, transfer pricing, hybrid mismatch).
• Hands-on experience managing AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and banking operations, experience in dealing with auditors
• Prior exposure to multinational company environment is preferred
