Belles is an American-diner style casual restaurant and bar founded by two fine dining chefs and a maitre d in Fitzroy 10-years ago. Now with 6 busy restaurants between Sydney and Melbourne, people know us for our now infamous hot chicken, easy-drinking booze, soulful tunes and super warm service.

While on the surface we may appear like another great neighbourhood restaurant or chicken joint, at Belles it's all the 1%-ers that set us apart. Like our table service, live-streaming DJ radio, Belles Original Draught on tap and the obsession we have with our guest experience!

Right now, we’re looking for a passionate, service-based Kitchen Manager to join the Belles family in our original Barangaroo venue, working closely with our Partners, Venue Manager and FOH team.

In this hands-on role you’ll be:

• Leading the team during our busiest services - making sure that all parts of the kitchen team are firing and delivering on our exacting standards
• Preparing and maintaining the quality of our signature fried chicken, sandwiches and sides within out timeframe and quality standards
• Maintaining all kitchen operating checklists and systems so service is super smooth, flawless and a hell of a lot of fun!
• Train and coach kitchen team members to our processes and standards, and maintain a high-energy, hard-working and enjoyable team culture
• The VM and Duty Manager's right-hand for all things kitchen operations
• Maintaining a super clean and well-presented kitchen and equipment, compliant with food safety standards

Experience, Skills & Attitude required:

• At least 2-years experience in a kitchen manager role in a fast-paced QSR environment where quality, consistency and wait times are laser focus
• A care and professionalism for your role, team and your kitchen
• The ability to lead by example and hold your team to our high standards
• An obsessive level of detail and organisation - and loves a checklist!
