Lynden Aged Care is a stand-alone, community owned not-for-profit organisation providing residential aged care to 102 residents as well as accommodation in 6 independent living units. At Lynden Aged Care, our mission is to provide high quality residential aged care and services to older people in an appropriate, well appointed and safe residential aged care environment and to support those living in our ILUs. We believe that all older members of the community should have access to care and services in a residential aged care facility which respects their privacy, dignity and independence and enhances their quality of life.

We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our dynamic team on a Full-Time basis.

The Quality Manager is an integral role in ensuring all regulatory and legislative requirements are met by Lynden Aged Care. The Quality Manager will be:

Required to set and undertake a schedule of internal audits, take part in other internal and external audit processes, and to provide regular reporting on the activities conducted.

Provide direct feedback of demonstrable positive outcomes of quality projects to all staff to promote ongoing commitment to, and efficacy of, implemented quality systems.

Provide effective and efficient collection and tend analysis of data related to:

Quality Improvement

Resident Representation

Clinical Risk (in conjunction with the Clinical Services Manager)

Infection Control

Consumer Participation

Feedback to relevant staff along with recommendations

Complete continuous improvement in all aspects of Lynden Aged Care

An important part of this role is to provide a level of education to service staff, based on compliance requirements.
