JCR Computers is a managed services provider located in Rouse Hill. We are seeking a Level 1/2 Support Engineer to assist with our expanding client base. The ideal candidate will be motivated, customer-oriented, and open to learning from senior engineers while working with various technologies.

Role Overview
The Level 1 / Level 2 IT Support Engineer will manage tasks ranging from basic desktop repairs to complex server and network issues. Responsibilities include phone/ticket support, remote sessions, and on-site visits. Collaboration with senior engineers is essential for maintaining smooth and secure client environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot Windows & macOS devices, printers, LAN/Wi-Fi issues.
· Administer Microsoft 365 (accounts, email, SharePoint, Teams).
· Resolve Level 2 server, switching, firewall, and performance issues.
· Monitor & patch endpoints via RMM; respond to alerts.
· Document work in the ticketing system for billing and knowledge base.
· Automate repetitive tasks and recommend system improvements.
· Build custom PCs and maintain workshop/stock organisation.
· Collaborate with senior engineers; escalate when required.
Required Qualifications
Essential
· 1–5 years’ IT support (Level 1/2)
· Strong diagnostics and customer-first approach
· Proficiency in ticketing/help-desk systems
· Experience with Windows 10/11 & macOS support
· Basic Microsoft 365 administration skills
· Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
Valuable Extras
· Experience with Windows Server & Active Directory.
· Knowledge of virtualisation (Hyper-V or Proxmox) and NAS (Synology/QNAP).
· Familiarity with Unifi, OPNsense, DrayTek, MikroTik, or similar equipment.
· Previous work experience in an MSP or SME environment.
· Industry certifications (CompTIA, MCSA/MCSE, CCNA).

Work Schedule:
