The Opportunity
RawTech Group is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Service Desk Engineer to bolster our clients' IT goals while contributing to our continued growth.
In this role, you'll report to the Service Desk Team Leader and leverage your IT and communication skills to support select RawTech Group clients.
Your journey begins with a custom training program, allowing you to gradually assume responsibilities like handling client calls, providing remote assistance, and making on-site visits. Along the way, you'll receive guidance from a dedicated senior engineer.
About You
You're an IT professional with at least 1-3 years experience in a similar role, looking to elevate your career within a dynamic, supportive team. You're driven by personal growth and have a keen understanding of technology, infrastructure, and business IT support.
You are highly organized, proficient in Microsoft 365, and comfortable using cloud-based business and support tools. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, adaptability, promptness, and preparedness are unparalleled.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver client-tailored IT support.
- Collaborate with our support team to devise innovative client solutions.
- Provide prompt, solution-driven support to clients.
- Research and implement approved IT solutions.
- Use our internal collaboration and support systems to boost efficiency.
- Uphold the highest personal and business standards as a Shire IT representative.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in workstation hardware/software repair and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Service Desk Ticketing Systems.
- Proficiency in customer service.
- Comprehensive understanding of IP networking, DHCP, DNS, and general network principles.
- Familiarity with macOS and iOS environments.
- Knowledge of Active Directory principles and best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of malware detection and removal techniques.
- Familiarity with managed and hosted VoIP systems.
- Awareness of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Understanding of virtualization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science.
- Fundamental Microsoft Certifications (AZ-900, MS-900, SC-900, etc)
Experience:
- At least 1-3 years of IT experience in a relevant role.
