Betta Food Pty Ltd operates a vibrant, high-capacity restaurant with seating for 450 guests, located on the stunning waterfront of Darling Harbor in Sydney. Known for delivering exceptional dining experiences, we are seeking a dedicated and driven Retail Services Manager / Coordinator to lead our front-of-house operations and contribute to the continued success of our fast-paced venue.

The Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in both business and hospitality environments. You will oversee the retail and service aspects of our restaurant, ensuring smooth daily operations, outstanding customer service, and effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise front-of-house teams across all service periods

· Develop and implement effective eCommerce marketing and sales strategies to drive traffic and increase conversions.

· Optimise the company website and social media platforms for performance and user experience.

· Execute SEO, email campaigns and customer retention initiatives.

· Manage promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and data-driven re-marketing efforts.

· Manage rosters, training, and performance to ensure efficient operations

· Monitor service quality, staff presentation, and customer satisfaction

· Work closely with the kitchen and senior management on daily coordination

· Implement retail and point-of-sale strategies to boost efficiency and revenue

· Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues professionally

· Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and operational improvements

About You:

· Proven 3 to 5 years’ experience in retail, business, or hospitality management

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· High-level communication and customer service abilities

· Must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently

· Confident with POS systems and front-of-house procedures

· Experience in Inventory Management and Stock control

· Able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume venue

· Available to work across a rotating roster including evenings and weekends
