ACC is seeking a Disability Service Manager to lead teams supporting NDIS participants with complex mental health and psychosocial needs.
At Aligned Community Care (ACC), our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals through personalised, respectful, and inclusive support services—and that often starts with understanding the complex mental health needs and psychosocial challenges of our participants.
We’re currently seeking a Disability Service Manager to lead a team of Support Workers in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients living with severe and persistent mental health issues, dual diagnoses, and complex psychosocial disabilities under the NDIS. Our participants require clinical insight, trauma-informed support, and resilience from their leaders.
Why this role is different
If you’re a service manager who thrives in dynamic, high-complexity environments, enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams (including BSPs, OTs, psychologists, and hospitals), and understands the unique needs of people with psychosocial disabilities, this role is for you.
You'll be:
Leading a team in supported independent living (SIL) for participants with complex behaviours and mental health comorbidities
Acting as the key point of contact for families, clinical teams, and other stakeholders
Implementing individual care plans, including behaviour support strategies
Providing 1:1 supervision and coaching to frontline staff
Reporting on incidents, restrictive practices, and service quality to the NDIS Commission
Participating in an on-call support roster to respond to urgent service issues after hours
About you
You’re an empathetic, proactive leader who has:
A minimum 1 year in a Service Manager or similar role within the NDIS or mental health sector
Experience working with complex clients, including those under restrictive practice frameworks
A solid understanding of psychosocial disabilities, trauma-informed care, and person-centred practice
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and review incident report and behaviour reports and manage high-risk support environments
What we offer
A collaborative team with strong clinical and operational support
$80,000 salary + $20,000 allowances + super
Hybrid working options (1 WFH day per week)
Flexible work arrangements and networking opportunities
Career development and a company that grows with you
Location
Our head office is based in Austral (Liverpool LGA), approximately 26.3 km from Parramatta CBD and 25 km from Campbelltown region.
