About the role
We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Onsite Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team. Ideally, we are looking for Fitters, Welders and HD fitters. In these hands-on roles, you will be responsible for providing on-site mechanical maintenance and repair services to our diverse client base. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your trade skills in a dynamic and varied work environment.
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement effective repairs
Liaise with clients to understand their maintenance requirements and provide recommendations
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and completed work orders
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and safe operations
Adhere to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures
About You
Trade-qualified fitter or welder (experience in mining or heavy industry preferred).
Current manual Australian Driver’s Licence, along with any of the following HRW licenses: FL, WP, DG, RB, RI, RA, CN, C6, C1 are highly regarded.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Current Work at Heights and Confined Spaces certification or ability to obtain.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
A strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to assess risks and implement effective controls for on-the-job risk assessments.
Capable of working autonomously while maintaining high standards.
