Plant Mechanic – Permanent Role | Leading Australian Manufacturer | Day Shift + OT

We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Plant Mechanic to join a high-performing maintenance team at a busy, high-output production site. This full-time, permanent role offers stability, great earning potential, and a positive team culture where safety and reliability come first.

Duties & Responsibilities -

· Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and replace mechanical components

· Perform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Oxy) as needed

· Ensure all work is carried out in line with WHS and regulatory standards

· Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with stakeholders

· Take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workshop

About You:

· Trade qualified Plant Mechanic

· Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills

· Heavy Diesel experience highly regarded

· HR/HC licence and welding skills desirable

· Exposure to CAT and Volvo equipment (a plus)

· Team-focused, safety-conscious, and reliable

This role offers high earning potential with a day shift operation on a 40 hour week, overtime available as well as performance and attendance bonuses. In addition, you will benefit from ongoing stability and career development.
