Join a well established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support operations and equipment maintenance. This position is casual for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance on machinery, conveyor system, rollers, and pump etc.
• Troubleshooting, fault finding and ensuring minimal production downtime
• Basic MIG fabrication as required

Requirements

• Trade qualified with minimum of 3 years post experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• MIG welding
• Strong problem solving skills and proactive attitude
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check
