Overview of the Role

This is a relationship-led Account Manager role where you’ll oversee and grow a portfolio of SME clients. You’ll act as a trusted advisor—strategising ways to promote their offerings, open new trade opportunities, and deliver measurable business value. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys client interaction, consultative selling, and driving outcomes. You’ll join a close-knit, collaborative team, and benefit from ongoing support, training, and clear pathways for career advancement. About the Role

Manage and develop a portfolio of SME clients within a large business network

Promote clients’ goods and services across the trade exchange system

Negotiate mutually beneficial trade deals and partnerships

Provide ongoing consultative support and business strategy insights

Keep client records up to date in the CRM and contribute to team meetings

You enjoy understanding business needs, solving problems creatively, and building meaningful relationships. Whether you’re experienced in account management or transitioning from a similar client-facing role, you’re someone who takes ownership and enjoys seeing clients thrive.

About the Ideal Candidate

Essential:

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

Experience in client management or consultative roles

Confidence to present business solutions and create value

Desirable:

Background in B2B services, advertising, or trade exchange

Understanding of SME buying behaviour

Proficient in CRM systems and reporting tools
