EL1 Finance Manager

Your new company

We have partnered with a prominent Federal Government Department that has many major projects at present.

Your new role

As the Finance Manager you will:

• Deliver high-quality cost planning, forecasting and analysis for construction contracts.
• Manage the branch-administered capital budget, conducting detailed reviews to support decision-making.
• Provide financial assurance to Branch Executives and Project Managers, ensuring accurate invoicing, financial reporting and capitalisation.
• Draft New Policy Proposals, Senate estimates and committee papers.
• Lead and mentor a small team.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need experience working within the Federal Government in a similar capacity with capital budget experience. You will be a self-starter with an accounting qualification, a Bachelor of Accounting and CA or CPA qualified.

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will be brought into the team on an initial 12-month labour hire contract with the possibility of a further 12-month extension.
