Our client a high-profile Australian government agency dedicated to advancing Australia's international interests by playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing foreign policy, promoting trade and investment, and providing development assistance to foster economic growth in developing countries is currently seeking an experienced Security Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team.

Contract Length:

You will receive an initial 12-month Labour Hire contract with the view to a 12-month extension.

About the Role:

As a Security Infrastructure Project Manager with technical project management experience, sound knowledge of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and experience dealing with Security Construction and Equipment Committee specialists for an EACS upgrade project you will have the:

Ability to liaise with key stakeholders and develop project briefs to deliver security upgrade projects.

Understanding and experience to deliver construction and physical security infrastructure projects.

Understanding of Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Security Construction Equipment Committee (SCEC).

Experience managing procurement of consultants and contractors to deliver security projects.

Ability to review designs against the project brief, and to check for consistency, usability and that security components have been implemented.

Experience with Gallagher Security Solution EACS is desirable.

Ability to identify issues prior to commencing components of the build and re-prioritise if required.

Willingness to undertake site visits where required.

Experience developing statement of work/Requirements for external contractors, drafting work orders, and ensuring work is delivered accordingly.

The Project Manager will be required to review documentation and drawings to ensure building works meet security standards:

Review diagram(s) and drawings to reflect security specifications.

Review and update “as built” documentation, drawings and review architectural designs as required.

Review design and engineering documentation issued by external entities and service providers.

Manage project budgets and reporting to key stakeholders.

Manage the project handover and close outs.

Travel

Domestic travel may be required.
