About the Role
Are you a data-driven leader with a passion for turning complex information into impactful insights? Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a dynamic Principal Data Analyst to lead the way in delivering trusted, timely and actionable data. In this pivotal role, you’ll support high-level decision-making across operational, tactical and strategic areas by planning, managing and evaluating complex programs within our Evidence & Insights Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible difference in healthcare outcomes through innovative data strategies and analysis.
You’ll play a key role in transforming and integrating sensitive clinical and business data from diverse sources into meaningful, high-quality reporting products. Your expertise will guide the design and implementation of systems and solutions that drive performance improvement and evidence-based reporting. Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll provide specialist advice and lead collaborative projects to test and refine cutting-edge reporting systems. About You
You are a skilled and solutions-focused data professional with a passion for improving healthcare through evidence-based insights. You bring strong leadership, communication and analytical capabilities to deliver meaningful data outcomes in a complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex data analysis projects, applying advanced tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Excel) to deliver high-quality insights and visualisations.
Proven experience in developing and implementing data management strategies within hybrid cloud and on-premise environments, including ETL processes and systems integration.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex data requirements and present findings clearly to a range of audiences.
Highly organised and adaptable, with excellent problem-solving skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
