Design, manage, and administer backup infrastructure for Government agencies and Whole-of-Government hosting, including the operation of various backup and data storage technologies, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

• Microsoft/Unix/Linux Server OS
• Microsoft SQL Server
• VMware, Hyper-V
• Azure and AWS cloud
• NetApp, Dell-EMC, Hitachi NAS storage

• Manage and administer enterprise backup infrastructure for multiple Government agencies.
• Deliver high-level technical support for:
  
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in line with industry standards.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years in backup administration within enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Commvault Backup and Recovery.
• Understanding of enterprise storage and backup technologies.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud environments and enterprise data centres.
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework (certification preferred).
• Vendor certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
• Current Australian driver’s licence desirable.
