Play a key role in protecting national interests - Become a Security Administration Officer

About the role:
As a Security Administration Officer, you will be part of a dedicated security team responsible for coordinating and supporting the administration of security clearances. From processing applications to liaising with key stakeholders, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of personnel security systems.

What you will do:

Process criminal records checks and review clearance applications.

Liaise with internal teams, external vetting providers, and government agencies to progress clearance processes.

Update internal systems and prepare documentation for approvals.

Provide guidance on security policy and procedures, based on the Protective Security Policy Framework.

Support frontline client services at the security counter.

Compile compliance reports and contribute to policy or operational projects.

What you will bring:

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Sound judgement and effective written and verbal communication skills.

A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.

Confidence in interpreting policy and delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications in Government or experience with security clearance processes and the Protective Security Policy Framework will be highly regarded.
