About the role

Looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Alexim Construction team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a casual role with flexible work options, reporting directly to the Director. You will be responsible for driving new business and sales growth for Alexim Construction, a leading provider of construction services.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and qualifying new sales leads and prospects

Developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand Alexim's client base

Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients

Negotiating and closing new business deals and contracts

Providing regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the leadership team

Collaborating with the marketing team to enhance Alexim's brand presence

Continuously researching the market and identifying new business opportunities

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in new business development or sales within the construction industry

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand client needs

Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Relevant tertiary qualification in sales, business or a related field
