Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Graduate Lawyer to join a dedicated and ambitious team, focusing on compliance and regulatory oversight.

In this role, you’ll work alongside industry experts and play a key role in upholding high standards of integrity and compliance. In addition, your role will include being involved in a variety of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

Monitor the compliance calendar to ensure all deadlines and obligations are met.

Conduct and manage KYC/AML checks on capital partners, vendors, tenants, and counterparties.

Oversee and support AFSL compliance obligations, including regular reviews and monitoring.

Maintain internal compliance tools and documents, such as structure charts and FIRB reporting.

Legal & Entity Management

Support company incorporations and trust establishments

Coordinate wind-up of dormant trusts, including preparation of legal documentation and board resolutions.

Assist with intercompany loan documentation, ensuring governance and accurate records.

Governance & Board Support

Draft and manage board resolutions across various entities and trust structures:

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to issue questionnaires and collate governance materials.

What We’re Looking For

Recent law graduate (admitted or near admission).

Strong interest in compliance, governance, and financial services.

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
