An organised and solution-focused individual to assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards in a dynamic global digital world. If you are familiar with SOC1/SOC2, data protection laws, privacy policies, AML, Responsible Gaming, I.P laws and dispute resolutions, then this job is for you!

Previous experience in a leadership role in a risk or compliance capacity will be highly regarded

About the role:

The successful applicant will be involved in the overall success and oversight of regulatory compliance;

Comprehension and interpretation of complex documentation (e.g., legal, regulatory compliance) as well as research and critical analysis

Liaising with professional, regulatory, legal and government bodies

Ability to manage simultaneous projects (of varying complexity) and ensuring objectives are met

Intellectual property, dispute resolution, legal casework and risk management

Maintaining, improving and developing policy and procedures documents

Monitoring the industry to identify, research and inform the business of key issues

Effective internal and external stakeholder management

Must Haves:

Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency Status or long term work rights

A university degree in a relevant field

2 years or more of comparable work experience, legal, auditing, compliance, change management or similar in a leadership capacity

Outstanding written and oral communication skills

A desire to further their leadership/management skills and develop others in growth

Effective multitasking and project management capabilities

Ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced and uncertain environment

Resiliency and keeping cool under pressure

A great sense of humour
