At Mamasan, we don’t just serve food — we deliver a dining experience where refined meets familiar. With two standout venues — the original Broadbeach flagship and the newer, Nobby Beach location — Mamasan is a well-known Gold Coast institution in modern Asian dining.

Our menu brings together traditional South East Asian ingredients and techniques, reimagined with contemporary style and precision. From share-style street-inspired dishes to refined larger plates, every element is considered, every ingredient chosen with intent. We champion fresh, locally sourced produce and pair it with layered, complex flavours — all crafted in a kitchen that values calm focus, team rhythm, and creative finesse.

Broadbeach is currently undergoing extensive renovations, and will be closed through the project.

About You

You will bring skills working in a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen and understand what it takes to deliver consistently exceptional food

You value strong team culture, lead by example, and take pride in your craft. Experience in South East Asian cuisine is preferred, and wok experience is highly regarded – though not essential.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring

● Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie role

● Knowledge of Asian cuisine and current food trends

● Proven ability to manage a section with clear communication and support to junior staff

● Ability to anticipate stock control and ordering requirements

● Composed, committed and quality-driven

● Capacity to follow established processes and plans

● Advanced preparation and organisation skills

The Role
