Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a designated kitchen section, ensuring high-quality preparation and presentation of dishes.

Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and implement menus.

Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.

Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and minimize waste.

Assist with planning and coordinating kitchen operations during service.

Requirements:

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
