About Us:
Catholic Regional College Sydenham is a part of the Catholic Regional College Federation of schools encompassing 7-10 Colleges at St Albans, North Keilor and Caroline Springs.
The founders of the school understood that in building a specialist senior campus, students would benefit from having specialist teachers and the widest range of subjects offered.
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Payroll Officer.
The Role:
The Payroll Officer is responsible for managing all payroll-related functions for the College, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of payroll, as well as providing essential support for all staff and stakeholders regarding payroll matters. This position also includes contributing to process improvements, system implementations, and training efforts within the payroll team.
The role is an ongoing Part Time position to commence as soon as possible.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ professional experience. You will ideally bring an understanding of confidentiality and can prioritise tasks. Experience with ICON software will be highly regarded but not essential to be successful.
We are looking for someone with the ability to work three days per week.

Requirements:
Previous experience in working in a school environment is highly desirable.
Strong ICT skills with an ability to utilise ICT in a variety of ways including Google suite and database management.
Ability to work well independently, be self-motivated and take initiative.
Polished, professional and courteous at all times.
Proven experience of effective team working and fostering and development of positive working relationships.
Highly organised with well-developed problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
