East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing the five communities of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof, in North Western Victoria.

East Wimmera Health Service now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced administration worker to join our payroll team as a Payroll Officer.

The Payroll Officer is responsible for providing renumeration & benefits administrative support and coordination at East Wimmera Health Services.

Duties will include updating personnel and payroll files, reporting and auditing and handling enquiries from staff and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and acquire advanced computer skills with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the ability to learn payroll programs.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate attention to detail, accurate and timely data entry and working to a deadline. You will understand the importance of maintaining staff confidentiality.

Previous payroll experience will be highly regarded.

Occasional travel between campuses is required so a current Victorian driver’s licence is essential
