We’re seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

About the Role

As our Payroll Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing payroll operations with precision and efficiency. From processing salaries and deductions to maintaining records and ensuring compliance with tax laws, your expertise will keep our team running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

· Process payroll accurately and on time.

· Maintain employee records, including salaries, hours worked, and leave balances.

· Ensure compliance with tax laws, labour regulations, and company policies.

· Handle payroll tax, superannuation, and other deductions.

· Generate detailed payroll reports for management.

· Address employee inquiries regarding pay and benefits.

· Collaborate with the People & Culture and Finance teams to streamline processes.

· Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

About You

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail. With strong organisational skills and a commitment to accuracy, you ensure payroll operations run seamlessly. You also bring:

· Proven experience in payroll processing & bookkeeping.

· Strong understanding of payroll systems, taxation, and employment laws.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Exceptional attention to detail and a can do attitude!

· Experience in Construction would be highly regarded.
