PERSONAL ASSISTANT
About the opportunity
Port Pirie Regional Council is seeking a dedicated and professional Personal Assistant to support the Director – Corporate and Community. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions and contributes to maintaining a positive public image of the Council.
The Personal Assistant will:
Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Director to assist in the efficient and effective delivery of responsibilities.
Utilise strong public relations and communication skills to promote a favourable corporate image of the Council.
Demonstrate a high level of discretion, maturity, diplomacy, and confidentiality in dealing with enquiries from residents, Members of Parliament, Elected Members, media, and Council staff.
Deliver courteous and professional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Uphold and model Council’s core values—Respect, Integrity, Professionalism, and Teamwork—in all aspects of work, with a clear focus on serving the community.
This is a full-time position and is classified at Level 3 ($87,000 - $94,000) of the South Australian Municipal Salaried Officers Award and Associated Enterprise Agreement with an immediate start desirable.
