The Opportunity
An established and well-regarded law firm in Adelaide’s CBD is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Personal Assistant to support senior Partners and legal professionals. This is a key role that requires strong legal billing experience, proven administrative capability, and the ability to operate with confidence in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
As a Legal Secretary/Personal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting legal professionals by managing administrative tasks and contributing to the success of the firm. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Partners with proactive, high-level administrative assistance
  • Managing major projects and legal matters
  • Preparing correspondence, contracts, and legal documents
  • Handling monthly billing using Aderant or a similar system
  • Diary management, client liaison, and general office administration

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support, including diary management and correspondence
  • Managing billing processes efficiently using legal billing systems
  • Overseeing file and document management, including photocopying, binding, and maintaining organisational systems
  • Supporting legal teams with research, drafting documents, and liaising with clients as required
  • Proactively handling client queries and ensuring excellent communication
  • Coordinating marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Assisting multiple authors and contributing to the overall success of the team

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong skills in diary management, billing, and file/document management
  • Legal sector experience is not mandatory but is advantageous
  • High level of grammar, spelling, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
  • Experience with Aderant and iManage (or similar systems) is highly desirable
