The Financial Wellbeing Collective (FWC) is a dynamic partnership of 12 community service organisations and local governments, dedicated to delivering integrated, person-centred services that address the causes and effects of financial hardship in Western Australia. Our vision is to empower Western Australians with financial stability, resilience, and wellbeing through collaboration and collective impact.

This role is employed by Anglicare WA as a Lead Partner of the Financial Wellbeing Collective.

As the Community Education Lead, you’ll design and deliver innovative financial wellbeing programs to empower people and reduce financial hardship across WA. You’ll build strong partnerships with community and corporate organisations, tailor engaging workshops for diverse audiences, and use your creativity to make a real impact.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), 12-month contract based in East Perth.

What you will bring

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role of community education in contributing to prevention and early intervention
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an organisation
  • Demonstrated experience developing and/or delivering content on critical social issues, preferably financial literacy, financial capability and coaching
  • Experience developing and/or delivering content using multiple formats, in person and electronically, to communicate with adults
  • Demonstrated business development experience
  • Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system)
  • Strong networking skills and ability to liaise effectively internal and external stakeholders
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and plan work

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and a WA Drivers Licence.

  • From $96,088 annual salary + super
  • 11.5% superannuation
  • In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount.
  • 3 additional days of leave between Christmas and New Year
