Position Summary:

The Business Operations Coordinator provides business, administrative, and project management support to ensure the efficient delivery of Janison’s assessment products to schools across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region. The role supports the Business Operations Manager in the delivery of operational activities and events, acts as a primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients, and collaborates closely with other business units.
An understanding of product information, event timing, and operational processes is essential for the successful delivery of Janison Assessments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end contracts related to item and test development using client-specified project management methodologies.
  • Coordinate projects and operational activities supporting international resellers and testing centres.
  • Act as the central liaison between internal departments, teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and support to ensure the effective delivery of Janison Assessments.
  • Assist with logistical planning and delivery, including the management of suppliers and third-party stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of assessment events on the online assessment platform.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to develop project specifications, communication strategies, project controls, and milestone tracking.
  • Prepare documents to support timely, accurate, and compliant project delivery.
  • Monitor and resolve complex inquiries and operational issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and service quality.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Degree in Commerce, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement, and problem-solving skills.
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced and collaborative environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience in project or product management within large-scale educational assessment programs.
  • Event management experience.
  • Skills in developing targeted communications for websites, emails, and presentations.
