About the role

We are seeking an individual passionate about holistic healthcare to join our team as the Business Operations Manager at Lotus Holistic Medicine in Maroochydore, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations and ensuring the smooth running of our holistic healthcare practice.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing operational strategies to support the practice's growth and efficiency, particularly in terms of clients on monthly care programs

Meeting with all staff regularly, to evaluate their performance and provide and receive feedback in accordance with the mutual learning model

To evaluate the staffing needs of the clinic in terms of HR and to recruit, hire and terminate staff where needed.

To respond to practitioners contacting the clinic regarding doing placements, contracting or employment at the practice and initiating offers for them to join if desired

To ensure all IT systems are functioning optimally and to put in place any interventions to improve the IT functionality

To maintain financial systems including but not limited to budgeting, planning, supplier payments, payroll and reporting.

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the patient experience

Reviewing business processes and ensuring documentation of such

Supervising and mentoring the administrative team to ensure high standards of customer service

Analysing data and generating reports to inform business decisions

Ability to create strategies for the director’s overall business plan and implement this strategy in a systematic way

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar business operations or practice management role, preferably in the healthcare industry

A passion for holistic living and practices

Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and best practices

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficient in using relevant software and IT systems to support business operations

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of administrative staff

Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and patient-centric care

Fostering alignment with the business's core mission and values with staff
