"Queensland Group of Specialists (QGOS)" is a platform for medical, surgical specialists and allied health professionals for their practice management and Sessional suites. Its biggest client is My Gut Care with several gastroenterologists. Due to the relocation of our current Practice Manager to far north Queensland, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Practice Manager to oversee the operations of our specialist center located in South Brisbane to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional with strong leadership and organizational skills, capable of managing all aspects of a busy healthcare practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient patient care.
• Oversee administrative and clinical staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Implement and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage practice finances, including billing, budgeting, and expense control.
• Foster a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
• Handle patient concerns and inquiries professionally.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize service delivery.

Maintain excellent patient care through strong communication and organizational practices

Ensure compliance with privacy laws and AHPRA regulations, particularly regarding social media.

As a successful candidate you will have:

• Proven experience in medical practice management, ideally in a specialist setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical billing systems and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Knowledge and experience to use a practice management software (experience with "Clinic to cloud" will be highly regarded, Gentu, Xestro)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
