About the role
This role is pivotal to the success of our developments. The position has lots of moving parts and includes responsibilities such as:
Ensuring all building Permit applications are correct & received prior site start date
Completing pre-site information and deal with the relevant authorities
Applying for and following up any construction documentation
Drafting & execution of associated Contracts (HIA)
Chairing internal meetings, attend client / developer presentations and meetings, taking minutes as required
Ensuring Progress claims are invoiced and settled in timeframes required
Assisting Contract Administrator Manager & Estimating Manager with quote requests from trades & suppliers
Working with Project Estimator & Project Supervisors to ensure best client satisfaction & financial outcomes
Attending to and action all client related calls and queries
Manage all internal schedules, inc External & Internal colours, Appliances and Fixtures
Manage Head Contract Variations, Extensions of time, Variations, Upgrades, RFI's & EOT’s
Manage all documentation, inc Working Drawings, Engineering & Frames
Drafting and issuing Construction Progress reports as needed
About you
Minimum 4 years in similar role in Construction Industry
Experience in managing Australian Standard building contracts, inc Design and Construction & ECI
Experience in standard HIA contracts preferred but not essential
Sound knowledge of a Project cycle, including Sales, Pre site and on-site exposure
Excellent understanding of Architectural drawings
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, MS Project and Aconex (or similar)
Strong time management & prioritising skills
Highly professional verbal and written communication skills
