Assessment and Engagement Worker | Rockhampton
Employment Term: Full-time (76 hours per fortnight) Maximum term three-month contract
Location: Rockhampton
Remuneration: $49.28 p/hr + 11.5% super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team
Establish first contact with the family according to the priority and risk assessment level
Contact may include telephone, a letter or a cold call home visit if contact by phone/letter has not been effective or if priority contact is required
Undertake initial assessments with the family in the home or in an agreed location, establishing need and the required level of support and assistance
What makes a difference for us?
Bachelor of Human Services or less formal qualifications with considerable relevant skills and extensive and diverse relevant experience to an equivalent standard
Genuine passion for helping people who are vulnerable with previous experience working with children and families who are at risk of or engaged under the child protection act
Working with Children blue card
Driver's licence
