About the role
Join us as a Senior Project Manager – FOGO to lead the next phase of the City’s third bin system on a fixed term full time basis available from 9 June 2025 until 16 January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the team in delivering a high-impact environmental project and help shape the future of waste management in the Swan of City.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;
- Working with the City’s Engagement team to conduct and review community engagement activities;
- Collaborating with the Waste team to analyse findings and compile a Council report outlining options for the third bin system and recommendations;
- Leading procurement and project planning once a decision is made;
- Coordinating with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the City’s sustainability goals.
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Education or Engineering
- Current driver’s license
- Construction Awareness - Safety Training
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.
- experience in assisting with the development, implementation and evaluation of waste education projects and initiatives particularly as they relate to the use of the waste collection service.
- Demonstrated practical project management experience, and proven ability in the delivery of projects
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and lead a team

The salary for this position will be from $107,720 to $121,862 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
