Lyons Air-Conditioning is a leader in air-conditioning solutions and product for the mining, construction, bus, and transport industries. Lyons has been now acquired by United Safety which is one of the leading brands in Fire Safety solutions and we are looking for a business development manager to manage and grow the airconditioning portfolio. We are excited to expand our team with an experienced Business Development manager that can will take on the airconditioning portfolio at Lyons as we continue to scale up with greater resources thanks to United Safety and Survivability.

Role Purpose

Looking for a dynamic business development role? want to get into heavy industry sales? Lyons is at the fore front of Heavy machinery Air conditioning with a service department and sales department to assist. The Business Development Manager is responsible for for the growth and management of airconditioning portfolio. The role of the Business Development & Product Manager is to research market trends and identify target markets to grow additional revenue as well as moving the portfolio nationally and internationally.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for achieving company sales targets, KPIs and company performance expectations.

Accountable and responsible for external and company sales division, budgets and KPI’s.

Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve performance expectations while expanding the client base and market opportunities.

Conduct sales demonstrations and present solutions to clients, attend networking events and host stands at exhibitions and conferences, perform all sales functions including quoting, invoicing, ordering, and follow-up, and write and present business proposals to potential customers.

Coach, train, and monitor sales team performance

Execute sales analysis, prepare reports, suggest improvements, research business opportunities and viable income streams, and identify key players while generating new sales opportunities.
