Alexandria Specialist Day Hospital is a four-theatre day hospital conveniently located at Level 1, 15 Bowden St, Alexandria and has been providing leading day surgical care to the community for almost 5 years. The hospital delivers day surgery care for Colo-rectal surgery, Gastroenterology & Endoscopy, Gynaecology, Fertility & IVF, Paediatric Dentistry, Plastic & Cosmetic surgery, Urology.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and capable leader for our day hospital team, someone who is committed to providing clear direction and support, maintaining compliance to the relevant regulations and standards to ensuring the highest standard of clinical care for all our patients and a safe working environment for our team. The successful applicant will possess the following:

Essential

Bachelor’s Degree - Nursing

Perioperative Nursing Certificate / Diploma (or equivalent)

Minimum 8 Years Perioperative Nursing Experience

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within a perioperative setting

Desirable: Holds or is working towards a tertiary management degree

Skills and Attributes:

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with other key stakeholders

Exceptional customer service skills

Proven ability to inspire and performance manage staff

Proven ability to implement project on time and within budget Advanced written and verbal communications

Proven ability to work autonomously

Strong analytical skills
