We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive medical clinic on a part-time basis, with the flexibility to cover personal and annual leave.

About the Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging and compassionate individual to join us as a Practice Nurse. This role is ideal for someone with a professional approach, collaborative mindset, proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities

The nurse role will be to work alongside and compliment our doctors and established nursing team.
Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with minor surgical procedures
• Administering and managing childhood and adult immunisations / vaccinations
• Performing ECGs
• Providing wound care and dressings
• Educating patients on preventative medicine and health-related matters
• Preparation of health assessments / care plans / health checks
• Coordinating patient recalls and reminders
• Maintaining accreditation standards in support with our Practice Manager and Practice Principles
• Undertaking administrative duties

About You

• Minimum three (years) of experience within a hospital and/or practice nurse setting
• A patient-focused approach and strong clinical skills
• Experience with Best Practice software (desirable but not essential)
