About the role

Karuna-Maya Medicine is seeking a passionate and experienced Practice Nurse RN to join our dynamic healthcare team in Jan Juc. This part-time position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient-centred care within a forward-thinking medical practice.

Days of work will be Thursday and Friday

What you'll be doing

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, including conducting health assessments, chronic disease management, assisting our doctors with minor procedures, iron infusions, immunisations - NIP Adult and Childhood

Travel Vaccinations

Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualised care plans

Provide health education and promotion to empower patients in managing their own health

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Assist with the coordination of clinical operations, including infection control and inventory management

Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices and patient outcomes

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Practice Nursing role

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current nursing practices, with a focus on patient-centred care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Demonstrated experience in health education and promotion, with a commitment to empowering patients

Proficient in the use of Best Practice, Auto Med, Cubiko and other relevant healthcare technologies

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of the practice

Experience with minor procedures, iron infusions, ECG

Nurse Immuniser qualifications

Current AHPRA Registration
