About the role

Craigrossie clinic' is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse Division 1 to join our team in Albert Park, VIC. This is a part-time position for three days per week - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting our medical professionals, and contributing to the overall success of our clinic. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.

What you'll be doing

Performing a range of nursing duties, including but not limited to, administering medications, wound care, and general patient care

Assisting doctors with care plans, health assessments and any other items

Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

Coordinating patient appointments and follow-up care

Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment

Providing health education and advice to patients

Liaising with existing Practice Nurse ordering vaccines and medical consumables

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse Division 1 with a current practicing certificate

Minimum 2 years' experience in a general practice

Must have completed a Nurse Immuniser course through a recognised institution eg. Benchmarque

Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

Proficient in the use of medical software and electronic patient records

Adaptable and flexible, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Targeting patients who are due for health assessments, care plans and reviews
