About the role
Dubbo Motor Group is seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to lead our high-performing team. This is a key leadership position, responsible for driving sales performance, team development, and exceptional customer experiences across a range of well-established and trusted automotive brands.

About you
You’re a proven leader in automotive sales who’s ready to make an impact — not just in hitting targets, but in building a strong team culture and reputation for service. You enjoy being hands-on, coaching your team, and working alongside department heads to keep the whole dealership moving forward.

Key responsibilities

Lead and motivate the sales division to meet business targets

Support sales managers and business managers with deal construction, customer management, and closing

Oversee sales operations, CRM usage, reporting and compliance

Collaborate with the Dealer Principal on strategic planning, marketing, and inter-departmental processes

Recruit, mentor and review team members to drive engagement and performance

Uphold our high standards of customer service, presentation, and professionalism

What you’ll bring

7+ years’ experience in automotive sales, including team leadership

A track record of delivering sales and profit results

Experience with multiple OEMs and dealership operations

Strong coaching, communication and performance management skills

Solid understanding of finance, aftermarket, and DMS/CRM tools

High level of professionalism, with a genuine connection to the customer and community
