This long – established, independent, multi –site supplier of building products into the Sydney housing and renovation market is seeking a strong manager to drive, direct and grow its largest branch. The branch is an integral part of the Group's network and will appeal to people looking for challenge and with the skill and determination to establish operational and service standards at industry - leading levels.

Reporting to the general manager, this is a result - focused role with responsibilities for:

Day to day management of all aspects of the Branch.

Setting the standards and leading the team

Financial management of the Branch

Development and maintenance of superior customer service levels.

Providing a safe and meaningful working environment.

To be successful as a candidate you must demonstrate:

Management experience with P & L responsibilities

Building Products industry experience supplying builders.

Customer focus with attention to detail essential.

Hands – on management style and excellent people skills

Initiative and drive and the capacity to work autonomously.

Effective negotiation and communication skills
