About You

You are a warm and reliable team player who thrives working in fast-paced and customer focused environments. You bring barista experience and take pride in delivering high quality service and coffee. You lead with initiative, care deeply about the customer experience and contribute positively to a supportive team culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager: Production, you will oversee the day-day operations of the MOD. (Museum of Discovery) café, ensure smooth service and a high-quality customer experience. You will manage the stock ordering, maintain supplier relationships and ensure compliance with food safety standards. This position is part-time working from Tuesday to Friday, 8am – 1pm.

To Be Successful You Will Need

  • Relevant undergraduate degree or combination of relevant experience and/or training
  • Barista experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills in a customer facing role
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
