About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader: Diagnostic Laboratory, you are responsible for providing technical, operational, and administrative support for daily teaching and research activities in microbiology/immunology laboratories. You will guide and advise academic staff, students, and external users to ensure best practices are followed. Your role includes maintaining safe and effective laboratory operations, collaborating with key stakeholders, and demonstrating proper equipment use and procedures.

To Be Successful You Will Need
- Relevant qualification or extensive experience in microbiology labs and PC2 facilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organisation, research, and prioritisation skills in complex environments
- Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work independently or in a team
- Knowledge of WHS legislation, risk assessment, and lab safety procedures
