Bush to Beach Legal are a young and vibrant firm, based in Forest Glen on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with a growing client and referral base across the region. We take a practical, people-first approach to law and genuinely care about our team and the clients we support.

Most of our growing work is in wills and estates and property matters for over-50s communities – our clients are often at important life stages and value thoughtful, clear guidance. We have established referral relationships in this space, and with the right person on board, this area could grow significantly. As this part of our practice develops, we’re looking for a capable and compassionate Wills & Estates Lawyer to join our supportive team.

The Role
This is a full-time, office-based role for a lawyer with 2–5 years PAE, with a genuine interest and passion for wills and estates. While the core focus of the role is estate planning, probate, and estate administration, there is growing demand in over-55s conveyancing, and this area may develop into a more balanced part of your practice over time. You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent client service while helping to grow the practice area in line with our referral networks and client demand.

You’ll work alongside another experienced lawyer, a dedicated legal assistant, and a paralegal in a small, collaborative team where everyone pitches in. You’ll be reporting to a Principal Solicitor who is down-to-earth, and supportive—someone who values collaboration and gives practitioners space to bring their own knowledge and experience to the table. This is a friendly and compassionate group who work hard and keep our clients at the heart of all that they do.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney, and estate planning documents

Handling probate and letters of administration

Managing estate administration matters with care and attention

Supporting conveyancing matters, particularly for older clients

Building relationships with clients and local referrers

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in Wills + Estates law

Contributing to a calm, capable and client-focused office environment

About You
You’re a clear communicator with a warm and professional manner. You enjoy helping clients navigate emotional or complex matters and want to be part of a team that values people and purpose over ego.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

2–5 years post-admission experience in wills and estates

Some experience or interest in conveyancing or property work (we’ll support your learning)

A practical, collaborative mindset

Strong drafting skills and attention to detail

A genuine interest in long-term client relationships and steady, meaningful work

The ability to delegate effectively while mentoring and providing professional guidance to junior members of your team.
