This is a rare opportunity for a junior construction lawyer to step into a front-end role with exposure to large-scale, high-profile infrastructure and energy projects.

The Opportunity

Due to strong growth and pipeline of work, this highly regarded construction team is looking for a talented and ambitious lawyer with at least 2 years’ post-admission experience to join their Brisbane office. You will be part of a collaborative, supportive and high-calibre national team advising major clients on project structuring, procurement, contract negotiation and risk allocation.

Your Role

Drafting and negotiating major project and construction contracts (including AS, EPC, D&C, O&M and consultancy agreements)

Advising developers, government bodies, sponsors and contractors on infrastructure, energy, resources, and transport projects

Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on nationally significant deals

Engaging in business development and client relationship initiatives

What You’ll Bring

2+ years PAE with strong experience in front-end construction/project work (candidates from general commercial, projects or transactional backgrounds with an interest in construction are also encouraged to apply)

Excellent drafting skills and commercial acumen

A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to grow within a top-tier environment
