We have an outstanding opportunity available for an Office Administrator to work within an established strata plumbing company based in the Lidcombe area.
You will be responsible for administration of the day-to-day operations of the office, as well as providing administrative support to the directors. The ideal candidate will have experience in using web-based job management systems (AroFlo or similar) and those who have understanding of plumbing, and/or strata will be strongly considered. The role requires someone who can work in a fast paced environment, and can work independently as well as part of a team when required.

Established in 2005, we service residential and commercial strata schemes throughout Sydney, with many longstanding clients who we hold strong relationships with. We have a close-knit team of experienced plumbers and pump technicians, most of whom have worked with us long term. Our office environment is very friendly and supportive, and we enjoy what we do.
To be successful you must have:
Previous administration experience
Experience using job/client management systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Strong organizational and task prioritization skills
Adaptability to manage changing workload as urgent tasks or emergency work orders arise
Ability to work in a self-directed manner
Ability to work in a team to assist colleagues and directors
The following skills are not essential, but strongly desirable:
Experience or understanding of plumbing or similar trade and/or strata
Experience or understanding of WHS management/compliance systems
Experience with accounts receivable
Experience with fleet or asset management
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Follow up on unpaid invoices and debt recovery
Respond to phone and email enquiries
Update WHS documentation and manage WHS systems
Follow up on pending quotes
Onboard new staff and arrange associated compliance
Manage fleet and associated insurances, compliance, and maintenance needs
Assist to manage other company assets
Assist the scheduler and supervisor with administrative tasks as needed, EG. book appointments, liaise with clients, ad hoc administrative tasks
Liaise with field staff (plumbers and pump technicians) daily as required
General office administration tasks and ad hoc projects as required by the supervisor or the directors
Social media management
