An award winning mining company is scaling up their sustainability arm due to global growth across the business. They are committed to the highest safety standards, mining copper sustainably to energise the future.

This will be a key hire in their continued growth strategy, reporting directly into the Head of Sustainability. You will work across Environment, climate change and Social Performance, this position will also lead the approach to Task Force on Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), water stewardship and industry and mandatory disclosure standards.

Role responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the Group Environmental Policy and Standard
- Contribute to improvement in Nature and water through target setting
- Preparing new global Sustainability reporting legislation
- Lead people through coaching of team members
- Identify, initiate and support projects related to responding to Nature-related risks
- Contribute to managing risk and performance on matters including climate change, human rights and social performance

Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in environmental management & operational experience.
- 2+ years of managerial experience
- Perth based candidate
- Permanent Resident or Citizen
