Quality and Governance Manager (Part-Time) – Home Care Provider
Location: Beckenham, Perth, WA (Hybrid – Work from Home & Office)
Hours: 2 days per week (Flexible)
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care and ensuring compliance in the aged care sector? We are a small, dedicated home care provider in Perth seeking an experienced Quality and Governance Manager to oversee our service's compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About the Role
This is a newly created role, that will be a flexible part-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality and governance frameworks that support our commitment to providing exceptional home care services. You will work closely with our team to ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain our quality and governance systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Monitor and improve policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks
Oversee audits, accreditation processes, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Provide training and guidance to staff on governance, compliance, and best practices
Investigate and address incidents, complaints, and feedback to drive service improvement
Support staff with education and improvement plans.
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic quality initiatives
About You
Must be a Registered Nurse
Experience in quality, risk, or governance roles within aged care sector, home care experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, changes coming into legislative and regulatory requirements
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
Passionate about improving care quality and service delivery
